CBSE UGC NET / JRF July 2016
The Central Board of Secondary Education has notified recently that it will conduct the most awaited UGC- NET for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor on 10th of July, 2016. The official notification for the same is also accessible on its authorized web site- cbsenet.nic.in. Therefore all enthusiastic and eligible candidates who wish to appear in this test are requested to read all the details related to it given below and submit applications via ONLINE mode within the closing date of 12th May, 2016.

Restriction of Age:
All applicants must check that their age falls strictly below the maximum age bar of 28 years if looking forward for Junior Research Fellowship. However, there is no age restriction for those applying for Assistant Professor Post. Also there shall be a valid relaxation of age for the reserved candidates as per UGC norms.
Criteria of Eligibility:
It is compulsory for all applicants to be a Post Graduation Degree holder or at least have appeared in the same from the relevant discipline with scores not less than 55% awarded by a recognized University or Institute.
For Unreserved Applicants – Rs.600/-
For OBC Applicants – Rs.300/-
For ST/ SC/ PH Applicants – Rs.150/-
The aforesaid application charges are to be remitted only though online mode by using Net Banking, e-Challan, Credit/ Debit Card.
Procedure of Application:
All candidates who satisfy all the eligibility conditions of CBSE UGC NET successfully can proceed for the online application. The online application procedure for this exam basically consists of 4 parts. The first part includes registration of the candidate on its official web site- cbsenet.nic.in. Here applicants will have to enter all their vital details and will receive a system generated Application Number. They will also have to choose a password for their registration id which can be used by them for logging in every time. During the second part, applicants need to upload soft copied of their signature and passport size photo in the prescribed manner. After this, applicants will proceed for the third part where they have to submit the aforesaid application fee. After successful payment of fee all candidates need to proceed for the fourth part which involves downloading of the confirmation page after successful submission of application.
